Description
Metapaste Plus is a water-based calcium hydroxide paste material for root canal temporary filling. It is pre-mixed in a syringe for convenient delivery in the root canal. When applied to root canal, it is alkaline by calcium hydroxide. The state of the treatment can be confirmed by the radiopacity of barium sulfate contained. Also, it is water-soluble and easy to remove.

Instructions
USE AND OPERATION
1. Preparation
1.1 The product is checked for abnormalities such as leakage and discoloration.
1.2 The method of use, precautions, warnings, side effects and contraindication are sufficiently understood through the manual.
1.3 The expiration date of the product is checked.
1.4 A rubber dam is used to protect the oral cavity.
2. Method of Use
2.1 Prepare root canal, then clean and dry it.
2.2 Fit the disposable tip after removing the syringe cap.
2.3 Disinfect the disposable tip with alcohol.
2.4 Measure the length of root canal and insert the endo-stop into the disposable tip.
2.5 Insert the tip into the root canal and then push the plunger to fill the paste. (At this time, slowly fill out the tip while avoiding bubbles.)
2.6 Remove excess paste around the root canal with a sterile cotton swab.
3. Storage & Care after Use
3.1 Remove the used disposable tip and seal the syringe with the cap.
3.2 Store at room temperature (1525°C / 5977°F) and avoid exposure to direct sunlight.
PRECAUTIONS
1. General Precautions
1.1 This product should be used for only oral tissues and precautions must be taken to prevent it from going into the eyes. If the product has gotten into the eyes, wash immediately with water and consult an ophthalmologist for diagnosis.
1.2 This product cannot be prescribed for internal use.
1.3 Patients showing hypersensitivity symptoms, such as a rash, during use should stop using the product and be examined by a dermatologist.
2. Warning
2.1 This product should not be used for purposes other than intended or by non-professionals.
2.2 This product must not be stored within reach of children.
3. Application Precautions
3.1 Never force syringe plunger.
3.2 Flow test of paste from syringe and disposable tip before using intraorally.
3.3 Tip is FOR SINGLE USE ONLY.
3.4 Do not use as a root canal sealer.
3.5 Do not overfill the paste beyond the apex.
4. Side Effects
4.1 No known side effects.
